[EDIT] after looking at the wiring diagramm, i think to make it little bit easier, there is no need to connect "czujnik sprzegla" (clutchsensor) or any need for a clutchsensor at all.A bridge between Pin 2 an 13 (cruisecontroll-unit) should do the job. But, caution, the CruiseControl wont turn off if stepping on the clutch.. possibility to turn cruise controll off is a short step on the brake.. is this correct?

You'r right, there is no need to clutch sensor, You can make a bridge.

Got my needed accelerator cable for the cruisecontrol today - and wtf.. i have another throttle body than you in the manual. seems there are two different bodies, and there is no conversion kit for mine.. ..wonderful. So i need another throttle body and cable from the gas pedal too..

for anybody who dont get a E46 wiring loom and have to do himself:

-> 7 pol. Plug: 61 13 1 392 226 / Cap 61 13 1 383 903 / Pin 61 13 0 007 571

[EDIT] PARTSNUMBER SEEMS TO BE FALSE! DOES NOT FIT!

--> different acc. cable from gas pedal: 35 41 1 165 788

Hi

One output from the clutch sensor must be connected to the ground. In another case the cruise control will never turn on.
When the sensor is a short-circuit, controller reads that the clutch is not pressed and you can turn on cruise control.

From which year you have a car? Can You take a picture of your throttle?
All E46 between 1998 - 2001 have the same engine M43TU - at least I think so.
I do not know the prices in Germany, but if you want to buy something in Poland, then I can help.

date of first registration 15.3.99

dont know the right building year right now, but i think it should be 98 or 99.. strangely there is only one part nummer in the parts-catalogue for european 318 in this period.. Just the croation got another throttle number. but there are two different accelerator cables for the gas pedal? one without and one for cruise control..

Cant take a picture right now, i looked up in ebay for the throttles. as u can see on the 2 pictures:

one is the housing you have- the correct one; and the "false" i got. on the "false" throttle there is no housing for the CC-accelerator cable as u can see?? and the cable is redirected by pulley..

Prices for the throttlehousing should be between 70 and 100€ for used parts in germany.

i m not sure if the cable is fitting..

under 13 there a two different cables, one for cc, one without description.. and i think the one without could be for the "old" throttles..

and i think that the old cable could be few cm too long.. because of the pulley..

Just changing the throttle and the accelerator cable, and it should work?

Never changed a throttle and a cable from a bmw, but cant be that difficult?

or do you know any troubleshooting here?

I think you need to change both the throttle and cable.
With the throttle should not be any problems, rather more work will be with cable.
