I´d love to have a MPH speedo in my BMW as well, had one in my first car (01 Ford Ranger). Now THAT is individual in Europe 
We gotta pay 7,20 $/gal over here, might rise up to 8 $/gal in summer 
BTW how much is gas in the States at the moment?

Das kannst du bei BMW bestellen. Wie "einfach" das läuft (ich meine ob du es einfach anschließen kannst und gut ist) weiß ich nicht, aber ich würde empfehlen die canadische Version zu bestellen, da sie auch mph Anzeige haben (glaube ich) aber mit Tachozähler mit km. kostet allerdings rund um 500€ - 600€ vom Werk
